Walter Maria de Silva (born 27 February 1951 in Lecco, Italy) is Head of Volkswagen Group Design, and currently oversees the design of all Volkswagen Group passenger car brands including Audi, Volkswagen, SEAT, Škoda as well as Bentley, Lamborghini and Bugatti. He started his car design career in 1972 as head of design for Fiat, and has also worked as a designer at I.DE.A Institute, and as head of design for Alfa Romeo, SEAT and the now defunct 'Audi brand group'.

Leonardo Fioravanti (born 1938) is an Italian automobile designer and CEO of Fioravanti Srl. He studied mechanical engineering at the Polytechnic of Milano, specializing in aerodynamics and car body design. He worked twenty-four years with Pininfarina, joining as a stylist in 1964, aged 26, and eventually becoming Managing Director and General Manager of Pininfarina's research arm, Pininfarina Studi & Ricerche. Before founding Fioravanti Srl in 1991 he held the positions of deputy General Manager at Ferrari and the director's role at the Centro Stile Alfa Romeo.
On January 16, 2009 Leonardo Fioravanti was elected Chairman of ANFIA Car Coachbuilders Group for a 3-year mandate from 2009 to 2011.

In a 2009 interview with Robert Cumberford, editor at Automobile Magazine, Gandini indicated that "his design interests are focused on vehicle architecture, construction, assembly, and mechanisms - not appearance." Marcello Gandini was one of twenty-five designers nominated for Car Designer of the Century.

Roberto Giolito (born 1962) is an Italian automobile designer, and Fiat's head of design. His design career began in 1980. Roberto started to work at Fiat at the end of the 1980s. In 2001, he was nominated to be chief director at Fiat S.p.A. and is currently the head of Fiat & Abarth Design. He continues to work on new small models for the company. One of his designs, the Fiat Multipla, is displayed in the Museum of Modern Art in New York. Giolito was highly praised for his design of the new Italian icon, the Fiat 500, which was awarded many honors. He was nominated Designer of the year 2009.

Filippo Perini has been design director of Lamborghini Centro Stile since 2006. Born in Piacenza, Italy, Perini studied mechanical engineering at the Polytechnic di Milano and later obtained a Master's degree in Automobile Design from the Faculty of Architecture. Upon graduation in 1993, he began his career as a freelance designer, working for Alfa Romeo, Fiat, Ferrari, Castoldi Jet, MET Helmets, Aprilia, BCS, Cantieri Nautici and Off Corse. He also did a stint as a consultant for FAST (Federation of Scientific and Technical Associations), where he worked on funding project evaluations and analyzing patents. Perini became a designer at Alfa Romeo's Centro Stile in Milan in 1995, where he worked on interior and exterior design projects. His CV lists the GTV, Spider and the Nuvola and Kamal SUV concepts amongst his accomplishments, as well as the restyling the 156 and 166 sedans. In 2001 he was appointed Director of Exterior Design for Alfa Romeo and created the 159 and the 8C Competizione concept. Two years later Perini took on a role as exterior designer at Audi and became Lamborghini's Head of Exterior Design just one year later, working on projects such as Miura Concept, Murciélago LP 640, Murciélago LP 640 Roadster, Gallardo and Concept S under the direction of Luc Donkerwolke and Walter de Silva.

Lorenzo Ramaciotti (born 1948) is an Italian car designer. Ramaciotti started his career with Pininfarina in 1972 and retired in 2005. In 2007 he became Group Chief of Design at Fiat Group Automobiles and was responsible for all the Fiat Group brands, including Alfa Romeo, Lancia and Maserati. He is currently head of design of Fiat Chrysler Automobiles.

Flavio Manzoni (born 7 January 1965) is an Italian architect and automobile designer of supercars and everyday vehicles, such as Ferrari, Lancia, Volkswagen, SEAT. From January 2010 he has been appointed Senior Vice President of Design in Ferrari where he is working on a new identity for the Italian brand. As design director he is leading the style center team to develop the concept of Ferrari FF, LaFerrari and F12Berlinetta. The designer realized the concept of the Lancia Fulvia Coupè, and in particular the Lancia Ypsilon and the Lancia Musa, both winners of the "European Automotive Design Award", in 2003. He was the art director for Volkswagen, responsible for the new stylistic imprint of the brand. He designed the Volkswagen Golf Mk6. In May 2014 he received the Compasso d'Oro, the oldest and most recognized award in the industrial design Field. The award was for the F12berlinetta that represents a true marriage of technology and aesthetics. In December 2014 on Yas Marina circuit in Abu Dhabi (UAE) the FXX K has been presented as the most powerful Ferrari ever, based on the architecture of the very first hybrid car of Maranello, LaFerrari, but in fact a complete new car, also in the design, personally overseen by the Director of Centro Stile Ferrari, Flavio Manzoni. Bruno Sacco (born 1933) served as the head of styling at German car giant Daimler-Benz between 1975 and 1999. He is acknowledged as one of the greatest designers in automotive history. Sacco accumulated numerous awards and honors during his career; his overall body of work has been acknowledged by Car Magazine's "Designer's Designer" (1996) as chosen by forty of his peers, the EyesOn Design Lifetime Achievement Award (1997), and the Raymond Loewy Foundation's Lucky Strike Designer Award (1997). He was shortlisted as one of the 25 Car Designers of the Century in 1999, and was included in the Automotive Hall of Fame in 2006 and the European Automotive Hall of Fame in 2007.

Ercole Spada (born 1937) is an Italian automobile designer. His most notable designs were made in the 1960s, for the Zagato design studio house, where Spada was chief stylist. During this period some of the most notable sports cars by Aston Martin, Ferrari, Maserati, as well as Alfa Romeo, Abarth, Fiat and Lancia were "dressed" by Spada's designs.
